Project Scope

To design a landing page, user content submission form, and backend admin panel for a recipe review website for a renowned chef.

The client will need to be able to manage the received recipes by sorting, filtering, and saving for later. He will need to be able to edit the contents of the submitted recipes, as well as being able to add his own content such as photos and text. He also needs to be able to publish the content from the backend.

The website needs to have user submission functionality for users to submit their recipes for Chef Anthony to review. This process need to be highly UX friendly considering the target audience of the website likely being not as tech-savvy as others.

Process

The Design Sprint framework was utilized to quickly yet thoroughly brainstorm the design. Afterwards, Figma was utilized to create a prototype for the website, which was then put through user testing to find what design patterns works and doesn’t. Afterwards, the HiFi wireframe was designed using the findings from the testing stage, completing the project.

Accomplishments

Successfully utilized the Design Sprint productivity framework to design the wireframe quickly, taking real user feedback through user testing in mind.

Successfully used Figma to design the LoFi and HiFi wireframes using design fundamentals such as typography and color theory in mind.
